Mr. Jackson has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agriculture and Education and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from New Mexico State University.
Throughout his career, Mr. Jackson has served on numerous state and national committees and state legislative task forces. His work related to minimizing federal impacts on local government in relation to endangered species was widely recognized throughout the western United States during his time in New Mexico. He was recently elected to serve as the 2018-2019 Texas City Management Association (TCMA) Region 8 Secretary/Treasurer and serves on the TCMA statewide Ethics Committee.
He was born and raised just outside of the copper mining town of Hurley, New Mexico on a small farm and ranch.
